It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas a Little Late :)

Although there was only a 30% chance of snow yesterday, we received nearly 8" in a matter of 3 hours! So, with most activities dampened due to weather, I decided to go ice fishing to a lake which required quite a hike to get to it.

The fish were biting, which is always great due to how many I consume on a yearly basis, but it was not this aspect of the trip that really struck me. In the midst of all the snow, wind, and generalized darkness, the sun began to peek through the clouds. It was a neat experience as I was the only one on the lake and realized once again that it may not have been the fish I was after, but instead the search for a clarity of mind and sense of serenity.

It is this type of event (although seemingly minor in nature) that really allows me to focus on the importance of ever-progressive integral health no matter what has been achieved to this point.
